FAQ
Straight answers
What does an eiQora platform cost?
Each platform is scoped individually, because each one is composed differently. After a discovery conversation you receive a clear proposal: a build scope with a fixed price, and an ongoing partnership that covers hosting, support, and evolution. No per-seat surprises, no charging your community for growing.
How long does a build take?
Weeks, not quarters — because we build from pieces already running in production rather than starting from zero. Discovery gives you an honest timeline for your specific scope before anything is signed.
Who owns our data?
You do, in writing. Your records are exportable in open formats at any time without asking us, and if we ever part ways your data leaves with you. Our security page covers this in detail.
Where does our platform run?
On managed cloud infrastructure, in an environment isolated per client — your data is never pooled with another organisation’s. Backups are automated with point-in-time recovery.
We have years of records in spreadsheets and paper. What happens to them?
They come with you. Data import is part of onboarding: we map your existing spreadsheets and registers into your new records structure, reconcile duplicates, and verify the result with you before anyone signs in.
What does support look like after launch?
A direct line to the team that built your platform — not a ticket queue. Fixes, questions, and improvements flow through the same ongoing partnership, and your platform keeps evolving as your institution does.
Are we too small for this?
If your institution runs on more than two disconnected tools and at least one indispensable spreadsheet, you are exactly who we build for. Platforms start focused — often a single workflow — and grow from there.
What if we want to leave eiQora later?
Then you leave with everything: your data in open formats, promptly, at no exit cost. We would rather earn each year of the partnership than lock you into it.
A question we didn't answer?
Ask it in a discovery conversation — you'll get the same straight answers, about your institution specifically.
